TED Holly's May 9,2015 review helped me. After much frustration right click (two finger tap on my Chromebook mousepad) opened a box with the correct spelling at the top. The same box has a "spell checker option" box that I Clicked on and checked the "check the spelling of text Fields", then misspelled words are underlined in red. The overview print is too small to get this info, trial and error worked. - update - June 27,2016 - quite working -the fix - after signing into Chrome the tab that opens on the top of my screen "Spell Checker for Chrome options" first option, "Chrome content menu, enable" when I checked that box the first fix I talk about got it working again.
So is it worth it to have it ?????

Awkward to use. Although it accepts English spellings as correct when asked to correct mis-spellings it does so into American!! Surely there should be a choice? English or American.
I need a spell checker.I have crippled hands and and fingers, so I need all the help I can receive.
We don't understand how it works.
I can't spell a lot of words neither can this program. Having to google search the word it doesn't recognise only to see it is like a couple of letters needing rearranging or that it is actually a word spelt correctly. It's like the developer wants use to modify his database of words into a usable state for him. I have used it for quite a few years but the last straw is when it says that "situationally" is not spelt right, it's top suggestion is "situation ally". No more going to find another to replace.
