Looks good, remember if you disable things you can block social functionality on sites.
It can block loading of various codes and page elements like: google, facebook, twitter and various banners and ad codes. google, FB and twitter is optional. Very usefull, really saves bandwidth and most of all: i think this extension will increase your productivity, not attracted by various ads. you focus just on important content.
Whether you have AdBlock or ABP or not, this is the perfect extension to further enhance the level of privacy you have online. Get it now. You won't regret it.
Great extension which I have used for some time now. However I wish there was some way to create exceptions for those times I want to support a certain site by allowing ads there.
A seriously good tool, more useful than is obvious at first. And performs exactly as it says. Love it!
Great concept, but no settings to override for certain sites. - e.g. if I use Google or Facebook to sign in to other sites, then I actually *don't* want that connection severed. Other than that, didn't notice any difference in my browsing. Only use if your fear and loathing of FB, Google etc is intense. I'm turning it off.
Please add global unblocking functions, for example, unblocking all social media trackers on all sites. Then this will be the BEST privacy extension on Earth.
After beginning to use Disconnect, I started to have trouble with site functionality. First the Zillow 'Email a Friend' button didn't work anymore. Then the search box on the support page for my favorite layout application wasn't appearing. I disabled Disconnect, and all the sudden Chrome was working perfectly again. I am done with Disconnect.
So far it's worked great and I've noticed a definite increase in browsing speed
Web pages load like far quicker now I have this installed. Great extension.
