Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.

Great, but It desperately needs a "Close tab?" leave prompt to avoid accidental data loss...
I use Video DownloadHelper and Ant Downloader (in Firefox) and while they get 95% of videos I come across, sometimes videos are super broken up and hard to download. I ran into such video site and this was the only extension that was able to capture and allow me to download the video. By far one of the most impressive video downloader. I use Brave and Firefox interchangeably, so I hope this extension comes to Firefox one day. Nice work. 👍🏾
this is very cool! now if only there is an option to prevent me from accidentally closing the tab :3 (very rare but it happens)
