This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Used to love the app. The extension isn't working (Windows 10)... when starting the share on my Asus laptop, the screen on just says "Starting..." under the name of "This Device".
The web based implementation is awful. Used to be able to use it to edit in photoshop. Not only is this too slow, but it doesn't even RENDER the photoshop workspace anymore.

1) Не могу установить Chrome Remote Desktop Host. Организация запретила скачивание exe- и msi-файлов через браузер. Скачиваю другим способом, устанавливаю chromeremotedesktophost.msi на компьютер с правами админа, и... ничего не происходит. Как я понял в браузер оно не интегрируется, хостом компьютер сделать нельзя. 2) Установил на другой компьютер без ограничений, с нормальными правами доступа, всё установилось норм. Пробую к нему подключиться, и... ничего не происходит, тоже. Постоянно крутит колесо как будто пытается что-то сделать, но коннекта нет. Никаких настроек (типа там, порты поменять, ещё что-нибудь) - нет.
Para conexiones con Venezuela el programa es lento, desde que desactualizaron la extencion la computadora se queda trabada en la conexion remota, deberian dejar una version lite para conexiones lentas ó volver a dejar la extenxion remote que quitaron
Vůbec nic nefunguje a starou aplikaci jste se rozhodli odstřihnout i pro ty co se snaží ji mít pořád funkční z neoficiálních zdrojů!
