This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Maddeningly slow. 1. Zero configuration - if you're on slow connection you can't reduce graphics quality to improve performnce. 2. Since desktop version is dead, you can't even increase process priority to give it advantage over other running programs. Running pretty much anything non-trivial locally makes remote clicks register 2-10 seconds later after you do them. 3. Since dekstop version is dead, RDP tab is now always lost in dozens of other browser tabs.
Я в шоке. Пользователи ставят единицу потому что кто-то им на работе пукнул в лицо, и тогда они отвлеклись и что-то там якобы важное удалили. Считаю это отличное дополнение к TeamViewer, что бы не вылазило очко с приобретением за бабосы. А плагин между прочим БЕСПЛАТНЫЙ. И именно из-за того что пользователи не заплатили ни рубля они из-за собственной безалаберности и невнимательности шаляй-валаяй жмут не туда в простейшем приложении, а потом пердят как старые бабки у подъезда что это приложение сделали злобные пиндосы, чтобы поднасрать России.

this app worked great. win 10 laptop with projector hooked up via usb c dongle in extended windows was able to start libreoffice impress with notes and my android tablet displayed the laptop screen with my lecture notes and I could advance forward the warning about remote window was on the screen and covering the advance botton for too long I ended having to waffle until I could reset the counter.
Most of the time does not connect. Worst experience.
It is difficult to figure out how to add a desktop to your application. Also, I need 24/7 access without having someone on the other desktop and currently having issues connecting unless I use the code that last only 30 minutes. This new website is not friendly to use and keeps disconnecting.
