This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

What a great tool. It works and does exactly what I need it to do.
Chrome Remote Desktop is a good idea, but it is just very poorly implemented. Even on a fast, internal network, it simply does not work. It connects, but the screen is unusable. It is very pixelated with no way to refresh. I expected more than this out of Google. The world needs a simple, remote desktop access app that is free and just plain works. There are other applications that cost a fortune just for simple remote access. They work, but the price is simply not worth it for simple remote access. If Google will finally make this work right, I will give it another try, but as it is now, it is worthless and useless!

Cannot get my phone to pick up my P,C although I have installed the software and I am logged into my goggle account on both devices, I have checked through all the FAQ's to no avail, don't waste your time with this!

Great app, however, it is limited so it cannot replace, say, teamviewer or anydesk. Limited number of assisted hosts. No information on the internet about its limitation. Sad.
