Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!
Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.
Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///
Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.
Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

Works fast on my macbook (maybe it hesitates half a second, but nothing significant. I can still right-click search (some reviewer said this was broken for Mac).
Super! Endlich eine nervige Sache weniger! Es braucht kein zweier zu sehen, was die meistbesuchten Seiten sind.
It could offer "home page" as general variable choice, but ok, it is possible to paste concrete URL and it works. Surely better than normal low-end demo Chrome from Google.
Doesn't seem to work on my Chromebook. Works fine on the desktop though.
When I open Chrome, I would like Chrome to not have the first tab load of: https:/chrome.google.com/webstore/category/apps?hl=en Chrome is a fast browser except when it is loading.

chromebook user ... this did exactly what it said on the tin. i just installed it 5 minutes ago, already happy. if this review is more than a couple days old then it didn't break my computer.
