Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!
Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.
Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///
Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.
Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

You need this extension, if you want your "Apps" page back after the latest update of Google Chrome. @Google: STOP FIDDLING WITH THE DESIGN. JUST LEAVE IT BE!

Absolutely love this extension, especially now that Google broke the Chrome New Tab page. I currently have my new tab set to open on the Apps page. Is there any possibility that we can get an option to only show the bookmarks bar on our new tab page as well? Thanks!
Love this extension. Have it redirecting to a HTML page that contains links to places I may wanna go. Stupid that we had to install this application in the first place, but hey, we gotta do what we gotta do.

Used it for a while, but no longer works.
Not really this dev's fault, but latest Chrome update has done SOMETHING to their New Tab function. Again. So now this extension cannot redirect at all. It freezes on a blank tab with the word "Redirecting" stuck on the tab name. None of the options work currently.
