Annoyingly, it goes so far as to tell Chrome that I chose to install it, and it puts itself on my Chromebook, my desktop, and any other non-school computer I use. And it tells me a teacher is logged in, too.

Great app! Bypass: on your school PC, download CCleaner. The normal install process won't work if your district is restrictive to the point where it won't let you have install permissions, so extract the contents of the ccsetup installer to a folder with a program like 7-zip. If you have no 7-zip, download it now (the 9.38 .msi installer recommended). Then inside the folder, use the CCleaner.exe (CCleaner64 might work with a x64 computer). Once inside CCleaner, go to Tools\Startup\ and find the Google Chrome tab there. Find the LanSchool extension, then DISABLE the program. Deleting it will just reinstall it, occasionally you might have to re-disable it but it should work just fine -David
