This Extension is good at blocking websites, and good at keeping you on task. The problem is, it doesn't only block websites, it blocks images, videos, even downloads. I have studied some coding, and found on inspect element how to enable a disabled buttons. The "Remove from Chrome" button is only a TEST. I suggest at home you install an extension blocker, one that will ask for permission when installing an extension automatically. Then if you go to security, and find your computer at schools access, you should be able to revoke permissions. Once its revoked, the school, or whatever is adding it, should have no more access to your account. When you add your account back at the computers at school, the extension blocker will ask you if you want to add LanSchool. Deny it. That should solve getting rid of it. If you have a school Email, as most public schools do, you can not remove it. Lan school has an extension blocker on that as well. If this doesn't work, and you want to play a game or do something, if the word "Math" is in the name, it will not block it. If you can create a website at home with google sites or with a purchased website to play games or do unblocked stuff, Name it something with Math in it. You all probably know about Cool Math Games, and know, a HUGE majority is not math games. I also want to note. The image blocker in Lan School makes things worse. When searching an image, the inappropriate stuff will be pushed WAY down to the bottom. Lan School doesn't block that far. In fact, if blocked just far enough that if you scroll down from what you were searching just a slight bit, it will go from the subject you searched to just plain wrong images. Also, at school, an application stopped my computer from logging out. A child came (I mean another student) and searched and I quote exactly what they searched "Porn". Then dragged a bunch of images on my desktop and changed my desktop background. Where was LanSchool to block that? Over all, this does not keep out software safe. It can cause it to be more dangerous. One last thing, is students install VPN's to try to override LanSchool. This is a danger because there are people who will install virus' when you try to install something. LanSchool makes it so you cannot get the extension at school, so you go home to do it. Thats a huge chunk of the US or other countries that use this for school, that will try to install a VPN, but get a virus. I conclude that LanSchool does not make things safer, but more dangerous. I believe they have a computer programed to go through and block websites, as it will be faster, and cheaper, but with this, computers do not understand differences as we do. Just like you put math in a website name, it becomes unblocked, you put different words in Images, Videos, Websites, etc, it will unblock it, and people know this. They will use this to make it so you see things, or listen, or install bad things. There should be more leisure to what is blocked and not, because there are a ton of good websites out there. A lot of educational websites that I go to at home are blocked here at school. Keep in mind that most of the reviews are victims (I try not to be biased, but the teachers don't suffer) of this extension, and not the people who actually think it is helpful, like the administrators of schools.
