It does "skip" the ads, however, I'd describe it more as "suppressing" ads. This is because what I've noticed, is that the ads will sometimes jump scare you for a second, at a random point of the video, while you're in the middle of watching. The little fragments of the advertisement will also pop up right after you're skipping or backtracking in a video. I have also noticed that ever since I've had this extension running, I can no longer like or dislike any videos, specifically, the thumbs up sign on the like button is missing, so when I try to press the like button, I have no idea if I've actually liked or not.
