Rarely works for shopping. I still have to manually activate it through Swagbucks. I also know it is tracking my behavior and in 2016, it's just a weird way to do business.
The alerts don't always come within a timely manner. I have far better luck going to the facebook group and getting the codes from there. There has been a couple of time where a code was still perfectly valid and good, but I was told by the button that there was no code.
I no longer like the swagbutton because my virus program shuts it down all the time saying it is a dangerous add on. It is just one extra thing added to the computer to run when all the stuff can be done elsewhere.
It's nice to have the swag alerts. But sometimes they don't work or are for mobile only. I use it on my laptop so it makes me feel left out. I search with their engine and find good different info than Google search but end up using both for fuller research purposes. I like the shopping bonus for things I buy anyway, so that is convenient.

It doesnt always count shop and earn activity and most things don't credit
It's very convenient, but definitely has flaws. Sometimes it's really slow to come up, or blinks back and forth a bit.
it is helpful most of the time, annoying when it pops up everytime I change pages while shopping, swagcodes on fb often send me to the UK swagbucks
It slows down my browser and I feel it causes issues with certain web sites, especially when shop & earn is active.
