Absolutely useless. I added this swagbutton but it never ever gives me any alerts for surveys or swagbucks though they are always activated. Very very poor and disgusting.
I'm new to this and find there are some issues. If I have multiple tabs open, my browser slows down. I'm not sure if I will continue with swagbucks but my work around is using another browser for business and chrome for swag.

It's nice to receive notifications about swag codes and be able to access surveys and other Swag pages.
I like the notifications if there are rebates or SG options - however it makes it super slow. I'm already typing what I'm trying to search for, but the page hasn't even loaded yet.
You can use SwagButton to access your account and search the Internet immediately.
I don't like that the pop up across the top of the page when I open a new tab or I go back into the site later. All it does is tell me I activated whatever shopping deal and I already know. I don't need to be reminded every time. Other than that I think it's ok.
Initially I found it annoying because I didn't know how to use it, but now I get it. Because I don't get email notifications. In fact only recently have I started using it and find it more conveniant to enter the site. Instead of the password route. However when I was updating my profile, my profile simply got stuck and my userid was completely forgotten. earlier the swagbutton mentioned my id, but now it does not. The other thing is since I don't shop on foreign sites because of the exchange rate it doesn't have any use for me, so I think the button should be a bit more specific for users outside the US. Its not relevant for us. On the other hand I was also able to keep track on all the avenues that are linked to Swagbucks when I was naming a brand in a slogan competition and landed on a page with the swagbutton notification. Which is like meeting a mutual friend or something. The other thing is when I key in stuff on the search engine page I don't get any bonuses. How is tht supposed to work. And I still haven't understood the way I'm supposed to id the code.
I like it because it quickly lets me see if there is a new swag code or survey. It's easy to search for things on the web or to do searches for the various swag games. I can quickly see how many swagbucks I have for a gift card. Oh yes, must not forget getting rewards for shopping. I use it every day!
I found it annoying... just removed it, actually. On some sites it pops up constantly, on each new page load when I've already activated it. Would be nice if I could just turn it off for certain sites or temporarily—when it's not the appropriate time for it to alert me. Or when it's asking me over and over to activate swagbucks for that site after I already said 'yes'. Grr.
