The Save to Google Drive Chrome extension helps you save web content or browser screenshots to your Google Drive.
* Adds a browser action to save the current page.
* Adds a right-click context menu to save hyperlinks and media.
* Configurable through an options page.
This extension allow you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting 'Save to Google Drive'. You can save the currently viewed page using the 'Save to Google Drive' browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension's options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma separated files to Google Docs format.
After your content is saved, the progress dialog allows you to open the file, rename, or view the file in the Google Drive document list. From the document list, you can organize and share your new document.

Does not work - just keeps playing instruction video
not working
useful, but in MacOS (Monterrey) with latest Chrome browser, functionality issues: Options: Save page as: Image of entire page (.png) saves only as .png screen shot Options: Save page as: Google Doc" saves as only as .png screen shot U/I Issue, text in Options dlog doesnt match current U/I default Good start. Needs work. Would be HUGELY useful to be able to save GMails and their attachments to GDrive folders. Technically these could be pointers? Even more valuable service feature would be to Save GMails and Attachments to Shared Drives functionality for project workflows but privacy is tricky. Thank you Google Extensions Team for this initial version. Look forward to more features soon!
It just saves the whole page as a png file
doesn't work, there is some error code that reads and you can't click and drop files. useless in my opinion.

We are using it to save gmail mails in pdf format (Print to Google Drive) The save to Google Drive functionality is limited, because you can only save to My Drive. It would be a great product if you could chose to save to a folder on a Shared Drive. And choose the folder at the moment when using saving a mail of document.
