AWESOME! GOOD-BYE, ADVERTISEMENTS!
This used to be a good ad blocker but now AdBlock automatically allows some "non-intrusive advertising." This can be extremely dangerous because most of the adds are written as legit newspaper articles. I really hope they stop this practice!
The best thing about this add on is that I don't notice it. It's like the internet was loud and annoying and it just suddenly became peaceful and quiet and it was a few days later that it occurred to me "It's the adds. They're gone!" Great extension. If you like it, kick the dev a few benjamins. It's not easy writing these things.

Attention depuis quelques temps Ad Block a changée sa procédure, on doit accepter de donner ses données personnelles de navigation ....inadmissible
Win 8 - don't work
Does it's Job, but unfortunately the CPU issue is pretty real... The only way to use it effectively is to enable it, open the webpage you want to close the ads and then disable it...

This extension makes surfing the web a pleasurable experience again. So many websites shove advertisements, suggested pages, and un-related information in your face when you're trying to focus on a news article or single piece of information. AdBlock helps get rid of all the clutter. I haven't noticed performance issues while using this on a 1 year old MacBook Pro, however I can see how that might be a concern for users with older machines.
