I use Adblock...and Ad Block Plus (not the same company) and I don't know which is better, which is doing what at what time or how many people run both of them together like I do... Running them together is good BUT it makes my cpu run at 100% and run at 1.5gb RAM EVERY time i use googlechrome which makes my computer very slow and loud. When I use firefox which does not have the Ad blocks program my pc has 777mb Ram and a lot less CPU usage. If you have a fast PC make sure you download both. UPDATE: i have deactivated adblock and my computer no longer makes loud noises and i have 10 tabs open and the ram has gone down to 1.25 maximum and cpu is at 50% max.....ONLY DOWNLOAD ADBLOCK PLUS!!!
Is really funny how an Ad Blocking extension is used to PUSH ADS !!! I was browsing an website which was not displaying any ads whatsoever, and suddenly I got some ads with a small text underneath it saying: This ad is supported by AdBlock. WTF ???
This app has saved me from complete insanity! While I understand the need for advertising, AdBlock makes using the internet a much more enjoyable place. Keep up the good work and keep donating to the publisher.
