Been using this for years but suddenly, on march 27,2025, it no longers works on youtube! For example, I will open up a youtube video and i'll get a pop up saying it suspects an adblocker and then pauses adblocker, refreshes the page and then ads will start playing. Literally the only reason i even had this...truly devastating. I will be removing this.
When it stops working on youtube it literally just pauses working on youtube so whenever it pops up the error of "Youre using an adblocker" and refreshes go check. Its just paused on the site again and again. So this ext. is shot. You dont have to believe me just check the ext. after it refreshes, youll see its just built in to pause itself from working. ;) Removing for Freetube.
Doesn't work anymore. If they did indeed sell themselves to Youtube then I think it's time for everyone to press the "Remove from Chrome" button. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. It was an excellent Adblocker for many oh many years, but for the first time ever in all my years did it stop working. As with all free things, they eventually must come to an end... it's the natural state of things nowadays, since everything has been ruined by money.
the extension used to be very good I've used it for more than 10 years but this year they sold to Youtube and now are allowing youtube ads which is the only reason I got it for. I have deinstall it, I'll be looking for one that blocks youtube ads

Don't believe these 5 Star reviews. This doesn't work AT ALL on YouTube.
On youtube doesn't block ads at all. requires many refreshes for ad's to be blocked

No longer works on YouTube AT ALL. I had to refresh the page about 5-6 times to bypass the insultingly long and unskippable adverts.
Worked great for a long time with only the occasional period where Youtube managed to get around the adblocking. Unfortunately this has been happening again for the last week and is completely ineffectual on youtube currently. That being said, I did witness youtube changing the setting of my adblock and automatically pausing adblock on their site. A popup would tell me I cant use Adblock, then the page would refresh and I'd get an ad and notice that Adblock was paused, so I think the current lack of adblocking on youtube is youtube being dubious.
