The original format was just so much better and now there's far less functionality but also takes far longer to load - how can someone sane have created this new version and told not only themselves, not only the people around them but also us, the people using the plugin to generate money for charities, that this is better?
Go back to the original format please.
This was an amazing app that I've been using for years. The UI was by far the reason I stayed, although I loved being able to contribute to charity in the process. The newest UI update has ruined it for me and I'm already looking for alternative options, unless I get a way to roll Tab back to how is was before I will be leaving to find an option as close to the old format as possible.
I love tab for a cause and i always try to badger my friends into downloading it because 1.0 the customizable interface was really cool and 2.) its for charity!!! C'mon! I completely understand why they changed it. People with slower computers would have problems loading the tab. But this update is a huge step down in my opinion. I have accidentally deleted many bookmarks because the (X) button to delete does not show up unless you hold your mouse over the bookmark for a moment, BUT you can still click it when it is invisible. I completely understand the design idea for this update, and I really support keeping it around for people who want this but aren't running on beefy computers or who just like the minimalistic look. But please bring back the old layout as an option!
i used this app for the longest time but unless the most recent update is removed or massively changed i will be forced to uninstall
Love it and have been using it for years. Being able to raise money for charity just by being online is a great thing! Especially for a humanitarian without a reliable income. But they got rid of the bookmarks grid where I had dozens of sites that I regularly visit. It made my time online so much easier... while raising money for those in need! But the recent change makes it rather difficult. That tiny little box with a list of my two or three dozen favorite sites is rather time consuming. I will be switching to another tab extension, but I would love to come back if they make the old bookmark layout available again. Perhaps they should allow users to choose which layout they want.
Ive been using this plugin for a few months and actually prefered it over the google frequent pages for its simplicity. Now theyve essentially removed what attracted me and others to use this. Expect to lose many users and lots of donations to good charities if you dont fix this!
Fix the adblock compatibility problems yo
Doesnt disturb, is customizable, looks great and helps people with the ads it opens without annoying the user.
I used to love this plugin until today. Not only did it generate money for charity but it made navigating to my favorite sites extremely easy. But the new update ruined all of that. For starters i cant create an exception for my adblocker, so no more clean water for little Abebe. But more importantly they ruined the interface. Now instead of having neatly organised bookmarks, i now have a clock and a whole bunch of wasted space. The simple and readable bookmarks of the previous version have been replaced by tiny little indistinguishable transparent boxes in the corner of the screen. I cant use Tab for a Cause anymore because the interface is so bad. Pls fix
