Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.

Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.

Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.

* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption

While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).

* Audit Pass’s open-source code

For a paid product quite lacking (for free version I would give it 3 starts maybe even 4 stars due email alias): - Tooltip (on input field) password generator & actual settings in extensions are not synced (have to specify them individually) - Filling generated password doesn't copy it. Good luck figuring it out if you don't store it right away (if you get a popup to store the password) - Changing password on websites offer to store new login information with blank username instead of updating existing password - Create alias takes way too many interactions if tooltips on input boxes are not used - Bad UI in general. Oversized, too wide, non-intuitive... You open popup from the extension and instead of simple narrow list and tabs on the bottom (and detection if there's a match for a current site) it shows way too many details. Opening stuff up then takes extra space on the right side instead of acting as a page that replaces the list and having back on it. The only reason I kept it is because of paying for ultimate plan that has quite a lot of stuff but mostly unlimited aliases. I still primarly use Bitwarden as it has 10x better UX. Smaller UI, quicker access to things, works better, and has more features like credit cards autofill that works. UX issue and bugs are common things for Proton and they rarely get addressed, if you just search for complaints about them you'll find quite a lot and major response from them is to remove reddit posts, give some instructions that don't make sense just to push disregard it as a bug or UX problem, or simply say we'll get better / fix it later. A bit of a shame but common problem for these "privacy" focused companies.

I will give 5 stars if the Team will solve the integration issue on Samsung android devices. Well-known long-lasting issue.

miglior gestore password in assoluto, sia per interfaccia che per funzionalità, oltre a garantire la sicurezza dei server svizzeri dell'intera suite proton (che uso), consigliatissimo
