TL;DR: Great at managing and matching cards, okay at doubling rewards. I've got a split opinion: When it comes to managing and recommending cards, I think Kudos is great. 5/5. They do a great job of matching your spending to other cards to find a good fit. And they do this with beautiful graphics and clear explanations. However, when it comes to the heavily advertised "double the rewards", my experience has been mediocre. They don't support most of the retailers I actually shop at, who are the ones I've found with the lowest prices (Walmart, Meijer, REI, Amazon, etc.). Instead, Kudos typically support brand websites and single-category retailers (Lowe's, Kroger, and Backcountry). As a result, I've had to change where I shop to actually get "Boosts". In situations like this, I wonder if other cash-back apps are just simpler and more rewarding. 3/5.
