game changer :)
With this installed and active any .gdoc file previously converted from .doc/x /when uploading to drive) can ONLY be opened in doc by navigating to its folder location. Searching for it and trying to open from the search field.. returns the "Whoops. We were unable to open the file you requested..." page. Uninstalled.
it doesn't work like it used to anymore. before, when I click on a link containing a ".doc" file, it opens the document on a new tab, no need to download the file to my PC. but it doesn't do that any more. it wants me do download the file first, then drag the file to the browser which is not what I want because I am avoiding having to download hundreds of ".doc" files that i just needed to view and not edit.

is this really from google. I cannot believe how this looks. I thought this will let me open my word files in google docs but it just opens it in a new type of docs
