Does not work. Ubuntu 14.10 x64, Chrome 39.0.2171.65.
Can associate .docx files in Windows File Explorer to open directly in Chrome, but .xlsx files associated with Chrome are not recognized by this extension and do not open.

Do not open my xls file , just showing here a blank page my chrome is up to date
use google chrome to open office docs. I now have no use for MS Office
Would be good if it worked. I just get a blank grey tab with a URL like chrome-extension://gbkeegbaiigmenfmjfclcdfdpimamgkj/views/app.html Drive is clearly identifying an Office document and trying to launch in OCM and barfing.
