This is awesome. I was agonizing over getting MS Office(Which is expensive) or Libre Office(Which is unfamiliar) when I found this. Used with the "Google Docs Quick Create" it allows me to do everything. From creating new files to opening files from hdd with double click.
Whoa, what a completely useless extension - almost as useless and frustrating as Google Docs itself. It did not only not let me edit Office files, now I cannot even open them. All too often Google would publish something that is not even half ready and claim that it works - the same as most of their apps and extensions.

Scusate, l'icona in Chrome (posta sulla barra delle funzioni) rimane in color grigio chiaro NON cliccabile, e di fatto non va! Ho un Mac 2015 con l'ultimo iOS.

It has stopped working!!!
I can't open my word files. I have to restart my laptop and that's not a guarantee that the editor won't hang.
It's really an amazing alternate to Microsoft office products - even better for the low low price of owning google chrome (Which is free as well so~).
