رائع
For navigating forward/backward through a gif (hosted online), this gets the job done. The "explode" feature allows one to easily split a gif into images (1 for each frame). A couple areas of potential improvement: - Release the source code. There is a lot of concerns these days about the security of Chrome extensions. - Make it a little clearer how to open the GIF Scrubber window. It requires a right click on the page, which is not super intuitive given that there's also a button in the extensions toolbar. - It's a little annoying that all mouse movements on the extension page will move forward/backways through the video.
It's great but it looks outdated. Also ignore the "doesn't work" complaints, those people don't even BOTHER reading a single line of instructions.
Works okay for internet gif files. Doesn't work on local ones (e.g. "file:///C:/animated.gif" ). Also, at the bottom of your eventPage.js file, was it really necessary to write "Hello"? (it throws an error...)
Kind of works. When loaded from any "dynamic source" like our youtrack bugtracker, you have to hack the url and manually add ".gif" at the end. The extension doesn't care that there are lots of request params before, it just cares about the .gif at the end... Makes it unusable for me (too much manual work required before I can use it, and if you want to do this for many many pictures, this becomes a pain) if you only have straigt up .gif resources, then it will be fine.
Awesome extension, need a way to make it work with local files. Then it would be more awesome :) Currently I am uploading my local files to a site and opening them from there, It's time consuming and wastage of bandwidth. Also Would like it much if we could delete some frames from gif and save it as gif :)
Works as intended.
Works perfectly. For everyone having issues, check the URL. Imgur likes to use .gifv and other sites may use .webm.
POS, doesnt work.
Like the keyboard control - perfect!
