I was told this exentsion definitely speeds up Chat GPT when the thread gets really long. It does this by clipping the thread, set in my case to 15 lines of the thread. I was also under the impression that ChatGPT can still see the entire history of the thread to keep context, which is the entire point of having a long thread. But it doesn't. GPT can only see back 15 lines for any contextual history. Don't believe me? Ask what the first line in the thread was. If the entire thread was remembered, it would show you the first prompt in the thread. But it doesn't. It will show you the last message 15 lines back. So it actually the defeats the entire purpose of keeping a long thread. Sure, GPT doesn't lock up, but it also doesn't keep context.
Installed it earlier today and so far it has worked like a charm. I was really frustrated with the lag in long conversations & installing this extension immediately fixed it. L ess important, but I also like the little reminder popup at the bottom-right that the plugin is working when I first enter a conversation; I haven't needed to adjust the default query display number, but it's nice to be reminded it's an option. Just a thoughtful little addition I like

This is a game changer for me, but lately ive noticed it will trim the conversation when the URL to a chat is loaded but seems to stop trimming as each message is posted. having to reload the page now and again, is this a bug?
