React Developer Tools is a Chrome DevTools extension for the open-source React JavaScript library. It allows you to inspect the React component hierarchies in the Chrome Developer Tools.
You will get two new tabs in your Chrome DevTools: "Components ⚛" and "Profiler ⚛".
The Components tab shows you the root React components that were rendered on the page, as well as the subcomponents that they ended up rendering.
By selecting one of the components in the tree, you can inspect and edit its current props and state in the panel on the right. In the breadcrumbs you can inspect the selected component, the component that created it, the component that created that one, and so on.
If you inspect a React element on the page using the regular Elements tab, then switch over to the React tab, that element will be automatically selected in the React tree.
The Profiler tab allows you to record performance information.

disgusting when compared with vue dev tools
Can Cause Panic Attacks I use this like clockwork, but the other day, my websites looked totally messed up on two machines/browsers, causing ultimate panic until i disabled this extension and re-installed it. Almost unforgivable.
In 4.9.0 version, component will be loading，can't debug and auto update
useless

Being a developer, I hate to be criticizing react dev tools. It was working fine until it started to not show the states correctly. I got stuck for literally 1 day trying to figure out why my states werenot changing. then came to realise it was changing but it was only the devtool messing around. Once it is fixed i would love to give it 5 star.
React Developer Tool is not showing up in Inspects even though i enabled the access to url
Note that the development build is not suitable for production. Make sure to use the production build before deployment.
Works great and is very helpful.
