Perfect, this is exactly what I needed!
I have lots of anxiety and social media is very toxic to my mental health. Sadly I am required to use social media because I am a freelancer artist and I need to use it to promote my art. This extension makes using social media bearable, thank you!

I would pay money for the ability to show just advertising in my feed. Alot of marketing professionals need to still see the advertising and would find this valuable as a feature.

As a high school senior juggling APs and applying to college, I never realized how much time I spend compulsively opening websites until I got this extension. I didn't even realized that I'd subconsciously typed an "I" into the search bar and opened Instagram until I was staring at a Tyler Durden quote: "This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time." This gives me the boost that I need - why should I be using the minutes of my life to randomly scroll when there's so much else that I can be doing instead? What makes News Feed Eradicator so effective is its simplicity: it just puts away the news feed, which is often an infinite parade of useless posts designed to suck attention. I can still choose to meaningfully visit a certain page or watch a certain video, but that comes from my own choice ahead of time and not compulsion. I've been using social media much less now because a lot of the time there isn't anything in particular that I want to see, I just open the app out of boredom. Thank you so much for this, I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!
This is my first time writing a review, but this extension absolutely deserves it! Basically I was out of control scrolling in the feeds. Now there isn't the need of watching YouTube or check twitter for a while. Thank u! It is very helpful.
god ive saved so many hours of scrolling... thanks so much. was actually going to go on github and play around with it to eradicate instagram, then i realised it had been added recently as an update, so no more time wasting on instagram anymore!
