Dark Mode and Dark Reader makes all the websites you browse into dark/night mode so that you can browse the internet without straining your eyes. It is an extremely useful chrome extension for those who use internet especially at night.
The Dark theme extension. Works with all websites!
You need to refresh all the tabs, which were opened BEFORE the dark reader was installed. You can also restart the Chrome to refresh all the tabs at once. Otherwise, dark mode and night shift mode will work only with the newly opened tabs.
If the website has built-in night theme, you can control it directly from extension and if it doesn't like Gmail, Google Docs, Office Online, GitHub and millions others, we will convert the colors to provide you with smooth transition on dark mode.

Missing critical features: 1. Has no option to sync with OS dark mode settings (at least in Mac OS), and only has the ability to manually set a schedule, which is not ideal. Major bugs: 1. Sometimes the site's domain shows up completely blank beside the site-specific on/off button. Can't reliably reproduce. 2. The whitelist/blacklist is obstructed by the buttons: "Clear List" and "Rate us please!" when it has many entries.

It is a solution for us night creatures, but it could have better results then the current. Still great solution!
The Clear List and Rate Us Please buttons block the ability to add more sites to the whitelist, at least in Brave browser. This can be bypassed by clicking on the top of the last entry and pressing tab 3 times, but if you click in the wrong place or press tab the wrong number of times you will end up deleting the last entry in the list, and you also can't see what you're typing. I would rate this 4.5 stars otherwise (if I could). The way it changes colors can be a little strange. An extreme case is the color (0, 0, 255) (pure blue), which becomes (209, 209, 242) (almost white) - at least in Google Sheets. I understand this is probably some color space thing (as pure blue does look quite dark), but maybe something could be done about more extreme changes like this. Or maybe the user could choose between color spaces to do the color inversion in. Also, it would be amazing if it would make all text slightly bolder. Text in dark mode just needs to be that way or it strains the eyes a little. Not that any other dark mode extensions do that to my knowledge. This is otherwise a good dark mode extension.
