目次がサイドメニュー化される点、多言語のWikipediaに切り替えて同じ項目(ことば)を表示することができる点が便利。 ja.wikipedia.orgのホーム自体はそのまま。記事ページを表示しようとすると、wikiwand.com/ja/の該当ページに飛ばされる。つまりWikipediaの見た目を変えてくれているのではなく、Wikipediaのクローンサイトを見やすく作ってくれているというもののようです。項目の編集も可能で、編集画面自体はja.wikipedia.orgのもの。編集してもwikiwandにもすぐ反映されるかどうかは不明。おそらくタイムラグはあると思う。 この拡張機能はインストール時に「アクセスしたウェブサイト上にある自分の全データの読み取りと変更」という強い権限を求めてきます。 セキュリティが気になる人は、Wikipediaを開いた状態で、拡張機能のアイコンを右クリックしてメニューを開き、［サイトデータの読み取りと変更を行います]をクリック、[ja.wikipedia.org]を選択しておくと、wikipedia以外に開いたサイトをwikiwand側に読み取られずに済みます。
