Unleash the power of sound, no matter what speakers or headphones you're using. I made this extension so I could blast music on my laptop. Pick how much louder you want the sound to be on audio from any chrome tab. This will work on any audio coming from any tab, and has been successfully tested on both Mac and Windows.
If you are on Windows and are having issues with Fullscreen, press F11.
If you are on Mac, maximize the window and then press cmd+shift+F.
If using earphones or small laptop speakers, moving the slider past the 1/4 of the slider will lead to crackling noise.
I am not responsible for any damage done to your speakers/earphones. Please use this extension with care, especially with moving the slider to the red section.

it bass boosts too much and it puts ads on chrome for you
Volume Booster opens tabs and pushes spam. I woke up with the link https://jointoucan.com/partners/volumebooster opened within a new tab, so VB did not jack an active tab. This was obviously a case of the developer having been paid big money to spam it's users of the VB extension, or the developer of VB created the extension that the spam advertised and used the VB extension to spam it. It is less likely that the program was hacked. The developer's contact link returns a about:blank. This is the developers fault and everyone should click the "Report Abuse" button on the volume booster chrome web store and give the developer the attention he/she craves. Starting opening advertising links 2-3 times a day, annoying.
For some strange reason, a few days now the extension disable the boost every x seconds on youtube. It works only if I keep the extension panel opened at the same time unti the video it's over. Please fix it.
Pushing ads for toucan by forcing a new tab open
Opening new tab ads by itself to promote another add-on with their promo included. Removed.
I really liked the extension ... until ! Since the last update, I (and others on reddit) get chrome popup to install jointoucan addon. Once in a while, ok maybe .. but I got this popup 5-6 times on multiples computers Removed this extension.
This morning it linked me to another browser extension called Toucan at browser startup, on two different computers. This is unacceptable.
Started opening adds. Easy uninstall. Hope the ad company cash was worth losing your users.
