This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

It's useless, at least for now. For every search request I type in, I get a response like "best check financial/medical/you-name-it" sites online. dafuq?)

It does not work in chrome for linux
Pas mal mais comme les autres disent, j'en ai marre de tomber chaque fois sur chatgpt et de devoir désactiver l'extension quand je veux faire une recherche google.
can't fully remove it. when i remove from brave or disable it, it still uses chatgpt for search. i want my google search back!
Works great for me. I don’t understand the negative reviews from those non-paid or non-chrome users. Seems unfair to rate it poorly just because it's a paid and chrome only feature at the moment.

good idea, don't like the implementation. the worst part and the reason I am removing it: the links it does provide with the response are not to the pages in the question (e.g. home page vs a specific page on the website). This sends me back to find the right page but my search engine is now ChatGPT, which means I am in a deadlock chasing my tail.. good idea, don't like the implementation.
