Note: You must be logged in to chatgpt.com to use ChatGPT search.

This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.

ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.

In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

GPT is Missing a huge feature I do not want every chat I have ever had stacked on top of each other on the side. It makes the experience painful to have 7 different Spanish tutor GPT chats for example ( AND I CAN'T EVEN SEARCH FOR THEM ON BROWSER VERSION) Folders or some organization system would make GPT Perfect. It should feel like each GPT and or each Specified CHAT should be like an Imessage contact. You need the chats on the side to have a folder for MY CHATS that I want to come back to and every other chat. For example if I am using Spanish tutor GPT, I want to see every chat with that GPT in one place. Same with GPT search. GPT Search is great tho I had no problems 5/5 stars, just wanted to share this.

EN/ The ChatGPT plugin for Chrome is a useful tool for getting quick and accurate information, but there is room for improvement. It would be great to see images of people when searching for their names to make recognition easier, something Google already offers. Additionally, it would be ideal for the plugin to recognize the user's default language. Currently, when searching for acronyms or terms in English, the responses appear in that language, which can be inconvenient.

Can't get it to work in Chrome. Note Google's AI search feature is working just fine in Chrome. Take the hint.

What a great start. I think you would have a real hit if you consider these three options: Do not like the fact that it replaces my home homepage and theme - it would be great if it confined itself to the omnisearch bar. It would also to be nice to perform a regular search and not just chat mode. Also search results along side Google's. Thanks.

The new GPT extension is a convenient addition, but it disrupts my existing GPT history, which contains important queries. I suggest creating a separate branch for the extension's search history or implementing a similar solution. Personally, I frequently revisit older conversations to continue my work, and the new search queries from the extension are causing issues.
