This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Don't mix the current ChatGPT tool with browser search. Brainstorm and work on a dedicated search page.

Would be best to put the searches in a temporary chat, most searches aren't something I want to keep in my history. Also I find it difficult when I just want a quicker way to get to a certiain website I don't want to type the whole name for
This works great but it needs the option to switch from chatgpt to google easy, like it has the !g tag you can add for a google search but maybe do like "ChatGPT what is ...." instead
This really needs the option to change to another search instead of ChatGPT search for some searches.
It would be great to separate the search chats from the rest of the chats. And make search with chat gpt optional.

Jamás había probado una extensión y que al primer uso la desinstalara. Me emocione pensando de que en cada búsqueda habría un panel o al menos una opción flotante (Como un fab) que me permitiera obtener los resultados más digeridos, un tipo de resumen o lo que sea. Quizás un nuevo chat que se registre seria suficiente o que sea temporal por esa búsqueda. Pero en general, como todas las opiniones, buena idea, mala implementación. Es algo tan básico que parece ridículo que nadie pensara que esa no era la forma, LOL. Algo tan simple como: En la búsqueda el chat obtenga los primeros 3 resultados de Google o Bing, procesarlo y output. Tal como ya lo hace! jaja
