This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

O melhor da categoria!
Possibly the best dark mode plugin, much more than a simple inverter. This has replaced a number of different plugins/scripts I used for different sites.
Fantastic extension. Exactly what I've been looking for. Great job, keep it up!
OMG what a life/(eye) saver. I mostly browse late night and the strain of the bright white background and dark was killing me before I installed Dark Reader. I find it very easy to install and use and very easy on my eyes. Thanks to the developers.
darkened 2 out of 13 web sites i visited, i would definitely prefer Dark night mode over this
One of those apps that just makes life easier. It's better than f.lux, because you don't always need it, only when your eyes are tired. However, we've reached a stage where it's pretty obvious most people who spend heavy hours on their browser prefer a background that isn't white. Leave it on all the time, it's easy on the eyes, and they're working on the glitches, the Dynamic mode is new and improved.
Ufak tefek sorunlar olsa da, en iyisi bu bence.
One of the better night mode plugins that I have tried. Gives you good options to balance brightness, contrast and a few other settings which is helpful to keep your colours accurate. It doesn't just invert everything and pray it works. Has a handy keyboard shortcut to on/off, although I would like to see the icon left click be an on/off toggle and have options under the right click menu.
на некоторых сайтах начинают зависать вкладки секунд на 30-40, даже прокрутка не работает, потом отпускает
It still works, but for the past few weeks Chrome has been unable to load certain symbols, icons, etc. I finally got tired of seeing them and narrowed it down to this extension being the root cause of the symbols not loading. If I disable it everything goes back to normal. It doesn't happen on every site, but the sites it does happen on it was consistent every time. I've been using dark reader for a long time, but this should be fixed. I find more and more sites everyday that it happens on.
