This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

наконец то. это первое расширение которое не поганит верстку. отлично работает с гугл таблицами. учитывая, что это единственная примочка которой можно ставить 5 звезд добавлю пожеланий: - добавить бы еще настроек чуток чтоб было чуть больше опций для цветов текстов и обводок - google keep удалось настроить на 5. но можно на 5 с плюсом. немного неприятные цвета обводок в любом случае еще раз огромное спасибо за примочку. просто находка. молодцы ребята, респект, жду обновлений и готов донатить P.S. на википедии когда открываешь статью про страну там размещение на глобусе. боже как оно круто смотрится.
Расширение супер. Но почему-то у меня с ним зависает хром. Периодически перестают грузится страница, нажимаешь обновить - бесконечно анимируется стрелка обновления. Когда отключаю расширение - всё нормально. У меня у одного так?
This extension is quite amazing as I use dark mode for basically everything and to have that on essentially the entire internet is great. The only thing I wish could be added as a feature in the future is that there could be a toggle for the scrollbar overlay as it can interfere with some sites and it overrides the chrome experimental feature Overlay Scrollbars but that's the only thing that I would to have added. This extension has great functionality and customizability with the different sliders that can be used to change the look for individual websites or every website depending on what you want. If you know how to code then you can make changes and submit them using the link to the dark reader github page at the bottom of the drop down menu. All round this is a very good extension and is a must have for any internet user that doesn't like having their eyes burned while looking at a white webpage.

I don't need to use Stylus anymore! I love being able to use a dark theme and not blind my eyes with the white! Up until this point the only way I was able to keep myself from it was 1 of 2 ways. 1) Hope that the gods of website creation had a dark theme available already. OR 2) Go digging through Stylus' website for a single dark theme for each individual singular website. Imagine my utter surprise when I tried out this baby and realized that it worked competently on EVERY website (seriously it even works on websites I use for school!) but that in the event that I wanted to disable it it was just a click away and it ONLY applied to that website! This thing is simple, elegant, and works great on every website that doesn't already have a dark theme (which is most of them) until the glorious day when every website has a built in dark theme I'll gladly use this!
