This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Occasionally I come across an issue where dark reader fails to catch all of the elements of the UI on a website. But 99% it works great and usually those bugs don't stick around for long before the devs fix it. I haven't found an extension that can theme as thoroughly as this one can. Right now there is a minor issue in the AWS console when looking at graphed metrics where there's a little white bar that shouldn't be there. But I imagine that will be gone before long.
Gracias es lo que buscaba!! Ese blanco me estaba DESTROZANDO LA VISTA!
Salesforce works perfectly again. Thank you for the fix! I hate to even look at other dark reader extensions because this one is so good.
I was affected with the change today in Salesforce. I just found a pretty comparable one "Dark Theme - Dark Reader for Chrome" to replace it.
This extension is causing random image requests to be sent out to the wrong url. The user using the extension doesn't see this, as it will then request the correct image. But web servers get hit with 404 requests because of it.
Listen, I LOVE Dark Reader, however, it has been absolutely unusable today for work, as it is not working in salesforce. half the page loads in light theme and is blinding. From some of the other commenters, it sounds like this isn't an isolated incident. I hope this gets fixed soon!! *Edit* FOR SALESFORCE: open darkreader > click more > click FILTER or FILTER+ > click the option to apply to current website only (optional)
I was able to get the Dark mode to work in Salesforce using the Filter or Filter+ mode.
Tokyo night theme looks beautiful
The Dec 5th update has now made is unusable on salesforce with it only working on parial fields.
I tried this for jira server at first but now I'm using it on so many websites that I didn't now I need it's amazing...
