After the update my buttons for websites randomly stop working and disappear.
It was great before this update. I dislike the smaller icons, I miss my Gmail being up there on the screen. And for some reason I have to click the icons twice sometimes, and sometimes I can't click them at all. Plus I had custom links and they are now gone and it doesn't seem like I can make one anymore. I don't care for "Apps" I just like simple to click custom links to webpages I use all the time.

The extension changes search engine. The search bar, changes your default search engine without notifying you and it doesn't use Google or even Bing, but something else. You don't get to see Ads in the results, which is a problem since nowadays many relevant results are from ads. Is there any way of fixing this? Because as it is now, it just sends the traffic to the developers, which is then most probably sold as data. I understand they have to make a living, but i'd like to have either bing or google as my search engine, with the standard layout. (There is no "Shopping" option, etc).
They appear to have removed the ability to add a custom link. I would have given them 1 star, but they're still allowing my old custom links to exist, so I'm thankful for that. This used to be a 5-star app. I'm not sure why they ruined it.
Was my absolute favorite extension before the recent update, which completely ruined the extension. It's no longer possible to veiw one's "quick notes" and notifications, without having to click on them separately, which completely ruins the purpose of having quick overlook of one's stuff. It's furthermore, no longer possible to right-click one's icons to open multiple tabs at once; a total changer for me personally. A complete 100 to 0. Please fix the layout.
As others have stated, this new layout takes away the reason we all wanted it, so we could see everything at a glance. I hope that the developer will see how disappointed the vast majority of people are with this new layout. As the saying goes "If its not broke, don't fix it" The original layout was perfection and the envy of other New tab developers...
