edit the "search bar" to google search -_-

Great extension, would really recommend it to friends and family, 5 stars :-)
I want to have option to remove Notification frame from the Home page, or at least we can resize it to have more space for website shortcuts.
The new changes that don't allow you to write on the address bar come with a google "lookalike" that gives you way worse search results than before. At least give me the option to opt-out!
The build-in search bar is totally redundant and the result is useless, why not just keep the input focus on Chrome URL bar?

how do I directly search by google instead of visiting a page which has less searching result?
Great extension.. Very easy to customize and make an awesome new start page. Runs smoothly with little impact on memory usage/resources. Been using it for years!
