Was a 5 star and practically indespensible, but when it updated it deleted my last 2 years of sessions, but strangely none before that. My "current session" is dated from November 10 2021. It also doesn't open tabs as cleanly as it use to. All that said, it is still a very useful app, I'm just wonder what happened? Edit: It has not saved any session automatically since I updated to the new version. I would've lost so much stuff if not for ctrl-shift-t and recent tabs built into chrome. This is the worst, most baffling update for a product I've ever had that wasn't made by Google or Microsoft (I don't own Apple devices, or they'd be on the list).
Was a 5***** now a 2. New version- search for tabs doesn't work, and NOT being able to EASILY close tabs means it's MUCH worse than the previous version! I hope it gets fixed, otherwise I'll look for another tab extension. really too bad It was pretty good.
This is NOT what you call an update... The new search function and the lack of the clicked item being visible upon cycling tabs - absolute dealbreakers!
Could you please bring back the feature where Session Buddy saves all the windows and tabs safely when the browser shuts off suddenly?
Less function and features removed do not make for a fun upgrade. I wish I could go back to an earlier version. I miss the update saved collection with current tabs. But mostly I miss having to click and manually rename an "untitled" collection. It should ask for a name. Make that an option please.
Why try to fix it if it's not broken? This version is unusable, the search (which i use everyday) no longer takes me to the tabs I'm looking for? Sorry guys, but this is a terrible update. I'm hoping you bring back the old version ASAP, but in the meantime I'll be looking for an alternative elsewhere.
Can anyone recommend an alternative to Session Buddy? I'm finding the new features unusable. Are there plans to have the tab icons show when using tiny suspender? In the new version, if the tab is suspended the icon turns into a blue puzzle piece. That makes searching for a tab more difficult.
Please bring back the old version. Why did you ruin it in the new version? I used to save sessions all the time and I could name them. Now I have to save and then it's saved as untitled and then go over and edit and name it. How stupid is that? Why, Why, Why?
just was updated and now cannot search - always returns 'nothing found'. UPD: i have to save something, the search goes form there, not from the currently open tabs. why so complicated? can you please bring back old version - it was perfect and where is X mark to close window?? that was the most used feature! UPD: the UI is no longer intuitive and CONTR-productive, breaks all best practises. It has to be type-in search string, get the dynamic filtered list of the tabs as long as you typing, click on the one you need - that's it! . Not - type in, press enter, go to the selection hidden in the left top corner, click open in new tab or something. sorry, i don't' care about upgrade FAQ, how smart the tab search extension should be that it requires a manual?? I better search for alternative.
1. Bring back the x close function as an option in settings for risk adverse users who dont have second thoughts when closing unneeded tabs/sessions. Having to right click > delete or 3 vertical dots > delete are unnecesary extra steps. 2. Bring back the naming feature when saving a current session instead of having it called untitled and having to rename it yourself. 3. Bring back overwrite with current function on older session with current session. 4. Improve search function where only collections are searchable with the exclusion of individual tabs. The search system should be able to detect special characters like for instance, i use `, !@, @#, #$ as my starting title for my collections. Putting ` or the other forementioned special characters in the search doesnt allow me to find anything at all. Thx
