Like Cris Weiser wrote on 18/3/2024, as of the March 2024 update, it is hijacking the Command B shortcut on Macbook Pro in Chrome (all newest versions). This shortcut is default Macbook Pro for bold text, used perhaps 500 times a day for some, whereas now this extension is hijacking this shortcut for no apperant reason other than opening the extension. I wrote the developers but it did not help, so the workaround is to keep the extension disabled; and turn it on/off as you need to use it. I will keep testing 2-3 weeks
Com essa nova atualização ficou um lixo, não da p excluir nada. Estou procurando outra extenção
Please allows us to chose the shortcut. The app is taking Cmmd+B which I use a lot to bold text...
The only good thing about the update is dark mode. Thank god for that, it looks great. Everything else with the update is just wrong. Bring these features back: 1. Single click to switch to a tab. I often have dozens of tabs open in a browser session. I keep Session Buddy open in the active session at all times. 90% of how I use Session Buddy is going to the extension tab to find a certain tab I'm looking for, click once it to switch to it. Looking manually for the tab or using Chrome's in-built feature is not as efficient (well, maybe now it is). Literally never had I needed to select multiple tabs in checkbox fashion like the new update does. If you guys wanted to keep that feature, just enable a shift-click to select multiple items. It's far more intuitive as this is a general method everywhere for selecting multiple items. Or, have in the settings the a choice for the action for a single click (switch to/open tab | select tab). Perhaps you guys are thinking your extension is simply used for saving a session, but I personally also use it in the active session for better navigation between dozens of tabs and windows. Both the navigation use in the active session and saving sessions before closing the browser are equally important/useful features to me. Also, yes I am aware that I can double-click or click on the URL to the right of the tab name but it literally makes me die inside how much more difficult and unintuitive that is. 2. Single "x" to close the tab. This used to allow me to quickly kill a bunch of useless tabs without even moving my mouse. I'd just hover over "x" and click several times to kill a bunch of tabs in a row. Now I have to select each one. 3. Search feature used to show me matching tabs in each session - which is helpful because sometimes I use the search feature to find an entire session based on a single tab I had in memory. The new dropdown is just totally unusable, incredibly small window, especially when a certain keyword gives me hundreds of results. And I have no idea when those results are from. At least with the old method, if there was a match you had the session list on the side to know the timing of it.
can't search tabs in history everything is more tedious and broken typical useless modern rewrite
The revisions seem to have broken quite a few features for other users, but I'm mainly peeved that the tab count badge seems to be gone.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Old session buddy was amazing. After the new update, basic search function doesn't even work
No longer allows you to delete specific tabs from a session after you're done with them and no longer saves at least the last few sessions in case your browser crashes. LAME update and completely unnecessary.
Please please please reverse this update. It looks pretty, but please make it so 1. you just show each session in the left menu like before instead of behind "history" 2. ctrl click on a link opens it in a new tab in the current session.
