The recent update has rendered the extension useless. Previous version was so much better. No option to unify windows or close any tab, I can't find any use of this extension. I wish it could be reversed to the previous version.
I love this extension and have been using it for years, for both work & personal purposes. But with the latest version, `Command + B` is seriously broken in all my browser tabs. I (and a lot of other Mac users) really need this fixes ASAP. When will the fixed version be released?
Updated on March 2024. The most recent update looks great and seems faster. I'm happy that the project continues and the new user experience indicates a strong commitment. Here's my quick recap: - Session Buddy now supports Dark Mode. - A new set of collection actions allows: - Organize links by Title or URL - Select duplicated links - Clone collections - Copy collection in multiple formats. There are some regressions in regards of searching and other interactions, but I read on their /v4-faq/ that fixes are coming soon. Overall, a pretty packed and solid update.
4.0 disaster
cara essa nova versão tiraram tudo, agora não deixar importar, espero que voltem a atualizar para ter as opçoes
Ver 4 update is utterly terrible. Bring back the "filter" type search. New search is basically useless. I actually don't mind paying for the old version. Make it a paid app, but totally get rid of version 4. You should pay us to use ver 4. The new version has very little functionality, if that.
lost functionality, specially the easier access of history, extra clicks to close windows
I have lost years of sessions since this new update and don't know how to get them back.
New update ruined some of the most important functionality. Personal preference here but I liked the styling MUCH better on the previous version. Also, now the logo looks too similar to the Edge and Copilot logos. As far as feedback goes: THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE IS THAT THE SORT OF THE COLLECTIONS LIST IS NOW BY UPDATED DATE. WHY? The whole point of having a history is entirely ruined. This would still be terrible, but not as bad if the original saved date was somewhere to be found. Now it just shows the updated time and date. I go in and prune/sort my collections from time to time, and every change now rearranges the collection list. This is absolutely the most infuriating change. The second biggest issue is the search box. The search functionality I want is to be able to search in an individual collection and to be able to search all of my collections. I also want to be able to choose to search by title or url. I can CTRL+F and search the title in an individual collection, but the search box is absolutely useless. Most of my collections are untitled which means there is no differentiating in the search results which collection a link comes from. Please show the title AND date of the collection. The CREATED date, not the useless updated date. I swear the old version had an option where duplicate tabs were not saved. Now I have to go in and manually "select duplicates" and delete them. The "X" button has also been removed so I can't prune as I go. I really hope the dev goes back in and makes these changes. Or better yet, just host the previous version as a separate app. I would much rather have the old one back than wait for the new one to reach parity in terms of functionality.
New version steals command+B as a shortcut so you see Session Buddy every time you try to make something bold. You can unassign this if you go into settings but...WHY??
