This is probably the best addon I have for Chrome. I would lose so much research otherwise.
... but I had to create a Google Plus profile in order to leave this review. Awesome tool, especially since Chrome sucks in this area. I used to have Chrome restore all tabs on startup, but a) this didn't always work and I would lose my list of tabs with no way to recover; and b) I didn't always want to restore lots of tabs if I was just launcher a browser window for a quick app download, for example. Now, Session Buddy takes care of it for me, and the periodic background saves give me a good measure of protection in the event of an unexpected crash. Also, Chrome's restore-after-crash feature has stopped working (well, technically it prompts to restore the pre-crash tabs, but the dialog disappears before I can click Ok, so it's useless). Again, Session Buddy to the rescue. Great simple, straightforward app. Does one thing and does it well, no feature bloat or extra complications.
I have used Session Buddy for years and it has saved my butt several times due to a browser crash or power outage. It keeps very up to date session backups which is great and also allows to save a session for long term usage. The export option is also great to create an export HTML page of links. I consider Session Buddy a must have extension for any developer using Chrome! Sometimes I can have up to 1,000 tabs at a time open across 30+ windows so it is really helpful in those situations too. When I go to restore a huge session it allows me to only restore the tabs I want and disregard the ones I don't want.
Excellent work
Great but the session you save on one computer doesn't get synced with your google account and therefore cannot be used from another computer...I dont know if this is possible but it would be a great feature.

It's a good tool. It only needs that tabs save their history; if this feature is added it will be complete, for 5 stars.
