*Original Review May 23 2018* I was already spreading the word about this extension to my colleagues the first night I installed it. I found this after my OS had crashed during an upgrade and I lost all my tabs and windows which had all kinds of work, school, and personal things arranged costing me quite a bit of time to rebuild. Now with Session Buddy I'll never have this happen again. The real icing on the cake today though was when moving to a new laptop I was simply able to backup my session and import on the new computer in seconds saving a ton of time rebuilding my tabs and windows the way I like! This made me so giddy I went and donated 10 bucks. This is my favorite chrome extension now, thanks developers! *Updated Review September 29 2022* Welp I'm much less thrilled with this app in the last couple years. The dev has decided to ransom any further development pending raising an unspecified amount of money and an unspecified amount has been raised to that end. The app hasn't even had a bug or security fix in nearly a year and a half so I consider it abandonware at this point and would NOT advise anyone else to donate. The most egregious feature missing at this point is the lack of automatic cloud backup or any cloud backup ability of any kind. There are several other competing extensions providing these features at this point, I would suggest looking at those. I have dropped my 5 star rating to 1 star and will be uninstalling as soon as I find a favorite replacement to use across all my workstations.

Try to maintain sessions of tabs opened on multiple instances of chrome.
Just started using Session Buddy a couple months ago, and it's worked every time to recover my tabs in the event that Chrome fails to.

I felt obligated to give a 5-star review after using this for a while and it always doing its job. I used to use the Great Suspender's built-in backups, but they can be corrupted losing months of session. Session Buddy has worked perfectly every time.
