I used to love this extension. Then they updated it, and, in the process, took over my keyboard shortcuts?? Now when I'm working in a Google Doc and I press Command+B to bold text, it doesn't bold text. It opens their stupid extension. DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNTIL THEY FIX THIS.

Old Session Buddy is great! I cannot leave it in the last decade...but if you don't like the new version, could you try [SessionPaw]? A lovely little ext made by myself to manage tabs as a companion ext to the Session Buddy. Sorry for that I just learned something about front-end development, I try to make [SessionPaw] lovely and useful, hope you all will like it...

Like most here I rely on this extension and I personally don't mind the new look. However, it is apparent that a majority of users have serious problems with some of the new functionality - or in some cases, the lack of old ones. I personally really need the number of links to be displayed as default when looking at the collections or history as now I have to select each one just to see this very important differentiator. Also when you select a session and all the windows and links are displayed in a list - why is the tab count only shown when you hover over the "Window" header text? please remove the display: none; from the css so it is always shown by default. The generally negative response to this update is coming from people who love and rely on it for their workflow so I hope that you can add to or improve version 4 to remain the best session manager.

Rozšíření bylo skvělé, ALE ... (!!! BEZPEČNOST a ochrana SOUKROMÍ - viz níže) Po aktualizaci (13.3.2024) se již ale nezobrazují údaje, které mi chybí: -> 1) Počet otevřených panelů u "ikony Session Buddy" (při běžném prohlížení internetu) - motivovalo mě to ke snižování počtu otevřených panelů. Hned jsem viděl, že mi počet panelů stoupá a že bych měl panely uklízet :-) . Myslím si, že v minulé verzi šlo toto číslo zapnout/vypnout v nastavení, ale nejsem si tím jistý. -> 2) V detailu rozšíření Session Buddy se již nezobrazuje počet Oken. Podobně jako u bodu 1 mě zajímalo, jestli mám v rámci úklidu již místo 10 otevřených oken už například jen 3 otevřená Chrome okna. Proto ubírám 2 hvězdy. Pokud se obě funkce opět implementují, zvýším hodnocení. -> 3) Aktualizace k 26.3. - Snižuji hodnocení na 1 z 5 - z důvodu BEZPEČNOSTI a ochrany SOUKROMÍ: - https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/session-buddy/edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko/privacy K čemu rozšíření chce používat naše emaily, čísla platebních karet, hesla? after a 5 star rating i gave years ago, massive change that removed previous sessions that weren't specifically saved. functionality changed, but at least there's dark mode now? terrible update, everyone should stop donating until it's fixed or move to another session manager program that has the basic courtesy to let people know prior to update that they're getting screwed. edit: it's been restructured. you need to read on the blog https://sessionbuddy.com/v4/ still, doing sweeping changes without mention is a bad idea. gradual changes with warnings that updates are coming are much better, hence i stand by my position

I don't have as many complaints as others do about the update, but upon first opening (and barely using it this morning with no caffeine in my system, so edits may be coming): - I miss the time and date of a session being saved. That was handy for the way I use Session Buddy. - I miss the number of open tabs showing on the Session Buddy extension icon. - I feel like there are missing settings that I liked (though am too groggy to say what exactly.) - A delete button for each folder/link instead of having to right click to delete. - The option to "name" a session the time and date was saved automatically was nice. It sure looked a lot better than hundreds of "untitled" sessions and just easier for my brain to recognize differences. I'm sure with more use there will be more suggestions. I hope that you are listening to the constructive criticism from everyone. I have loved this extension for years (no idea how long, but a LONG time) and will continue to use it.

it was really good up until the most recent update now i cannot save sessions within themselves (which was really useful for chunking various tabs together without keeping them open) i cannot load old sessions i had that DID save them within themselves i cannot simply search up sessions like i used to reloading the page does not keep it on the same session you were on, and instead scrolls you back up to your current session i also cannot export my sessions as text to port them back to an older version i found, meaning im now stuck with this in general this update just about ruins most of what was good before it, and forces you to stick with it against your will, despite my efforts to try and undo it, all of which have had no result this really sucks, considering i used it to put music and stuff together for writing to and now i can't really do that.
