Reader View extension brings Mozilla's open-source Readability implantation to Chromium. Using this extension you can strip clutters from webpages and read them on "Reader View" mode. The extension allows you to toggle between normal view and reader view by pressing the page-action button.
Note that reader view mode works best for web pages that have a lot of content. There are some tools in the left side panel that can help you personalize your Reader View. You can change color, background-color, font-size, font-family and width of the reader view.

Works well. On ChromeOS it doesn't see ACAPELA Voices. Acapela TTS is the only TTS engine that works on ChromeOS under Android (thats probably the Android in ChromeOS is an old version. Anyhow, other extensions e.g. Read Aloud pick up Acapela voices but your extension doesn't. In your extension dropdown menu the it includes in the top of the list voice ANDROID which should be the default TTS voice set in Android settings (by the way it's not easy to access TTS settings in Android ChromeOS, but it can be accessed via custom extension to settings or via T2S android app)... anyhow back to your extension. So as I said it shows "Android" for voice in the list but your extension doesn't seem to work with it. As I say, Acapela voices are the only ones that work on ChromeOS. The default Chrome voices are really bad and I don't want to pay subscription for Google quality TTS voices, it's Google money grab, same with Amazon's Polly voices. My second question - why there is another extension similar to yours, the other one offered by: NiceExt. What's the difference? Is one a rip of the other?
Needed something to share website for classrooms without all the inappropriate ad content. This is simple and it does exactly what I need. Adjust coloring and enlarge font and print. Highly recommend!

Very good. I use the dark mode with increased size. Only one negative. I use an up to date chromebook and so, my browser is obviously Chrome. Recently I have been getting the following message above the normal webpage's text telling me... "Your Web Browser may be out of date. If you are using Internet Explorer 9, 10 or 11 our Audio player will not work properly. For a better experience use Google Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge."
There is a bug in this add-on. URLs at the top of the articles read have a SPACE inserted between the ".com" and the rest of the URL. Not good.
excellent app... a must be.. specially when you are investiagating and need to condese the notes!!
