Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

This is just awesome! Clear and great :DD
Simple app. It does what it sets out to do, and more... Unfortunately, it also blanks out the bookmark toolbar, which probably wasn't the intention.
Does what it is supposed to do. This option should not have been removed from Chrome, very glad thakis made this quick fix though.
Does exactly what it promises. Doesn't ask for permissions it doesn't need.

Good Enough
This doesn't give a blank page as described. Sometime ago Google gave me the info on how to achieve a plain white new tab but I've lost it. Now, after having to reinstall Chrome after a computer crash, I can't get the plain white tab back.
