Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

It doesn't work!!!
This is by far the best dark mode extension we've had. While not perfect, it manages to convert a large majority of websites to dark mode quite seamlessly. The colors may not always look the best, but that's when custom colors come in (elaborated below). Websites that this doesn't work are usually shopping sites which use floating images. Continued from the above point, It's the only one I know that allows fully customized colors, so you can actually choose any colors to switch to, even colors that are not at all "dark" if that's what you like. I personally use HEX #29313f as background and HEX #a0a39f as font color. Much more can be customized, that I haven't touched on due to laziness. I strongly recommend playing with the customization to get the combination that work best for you. It also allows website exemption, so you can exempt certain websites that have their own dark modes, such as gmail, facebook, reddit, etc. It shows a simple switch button on the extension bar that you can simply click to toogle dark mode on and off. Very easy and fast to turn it off on certain websites that it doesn't work well.

Took me way to long to realize you can exclude websites from the dark mode, works amazingly much love
I decided to checkout this extension, it doesn't work except on there website!
