High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

HAS ISSUES. GREAT if the bugs were fixed. - Basically, if you have multiple tabs with the same name, it won't notice the second one. Binge reading Wikipedia can blind you when you re-open the same link twice. - Sometimes doesn't work at all. - SLOW. INSANELY SLOW. Will actually slow down my FX-8370 with too many tabs open, when trying to scroll. If Windows wasn't such a POS, it would let you invert the screen (or a window) with a key-press like Ubuntu does and this extension wouldn't even be necessary.
La extensión es super funcional, muy buena sin embargo espero que le apliquen una nueva configuración para las imágenes, vídeos y GIF's ya que resulta un poco incómodo ver imágenes en colores neones pero por lo demás es perfecta

Pas convaincu du tout
Okay, but it makes pages load so slow, and typing gets sluggish (I'm on a chromebook). And it doesn't work on all websites (like the chrome web store). Not that this extension would be needed if websites didn't use gray text on gray background (like the chrome web store)
Turned on accidentally and turned my google screen into a negative. WTF
I like the extension, but it does not work on my Mac.
This is a disgrace for chrome.Worst high contrast mode ever!
