High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

Same issue as reported by dozens of others: It creates acres of white space at the bottom right axis, rendering scrollbars essentially useless.
i loved having it, when it worked, it worked perfectly... now it causes a problem displaying some websites and creates an infinite scroll tab in the scroll bar of all sites. It worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago when I encountered a bad website... it took control of my computer with a klaxon sound and flashing screen, I had to do a hard shutdown... after that this extension was ruined. please fix it soon, I depend on this extension to read websites in high contrast.
I love how much it helps, but one BIG PROBLEM I would love to see fixed. If this extension in enabled, a ton of "blank space" is at the end and side of all webpages. It is extremely annoying. Would you please fix this?

התוסף עושה את הפעולה שלו טוב מאוד אבל יש דברים שצריך לשפר. 1. באפשרויות שמוציאות את הגוונים(גווני אפור\צהוב-שחור) לא ניתן לזהות קישורים ביחס לטקסט. - מקובל להוסיף קו תחתון בשביל שניתן יהיה להבחין בהם. 2. היפוך צבעים לא פועל טוב על תמונות, הן נשארות באותם הצבעים אבל כמות האור בהן עולה ברמה שהן כבר מסנוורות. 3. לא פועל על ערכת התצוגה של כרום. 4. לא פועל בדף הפתיחה ובדפי ההגדרות בכרום.
