High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

Great App to be able to see whats on screen
Inverts images unfortunately. Apart from that works very fast and solid.
How do I get it off? People appear as negatives.

This is great, but is there any way to customize the contrast colors? The extension includes yellow on black, but my doctor is recommending yellow on blue.

It seems useful; I haven't been using it long enough for me to see the issues that others have described in their reviews, but I will be on the lookout for them. What concerns me is the lack of flexibility. I wish there were more options, as all of the options (except "Normal", of course) make it harder or impossible to see the Friend Requests/Messages/Notifications icons in the top nav bar on Facebook, for a popular example. I am quite shocked that it wrecks the navigation on such a popular website. Faecbook has a lot of whitespace and would be a great site on which to use this extension if it wasn't for that failing. However, it works wonderfully on blogs, so I'll keep it for those purposed unless and until I see some of the more serious bugs that others have described.
